Bystander Intervention Workshops

Ea delivers the Bystander Intervention programme.

These workshops include a look at what sexual harassment, harassment, and bullying are. The programme has been developed as part of AUT's response to the Independent Review by Kate Davenport QC.

Please see the bottom of the page for links to TUIA and Registration forms for People Leaders/Managers and All Staff to sign up for a Bystander Intervention Workshop.

Bystander Intervention Workshops for 2025 are:

Tuesday 15 April

Wednesday 20 August

Wednesday 19 November

The workshops will answer these questions:

  • Why does AUT have a harassment/bullying/conflict prevention policy?

  • What is sexual harassment, harassment or bullying? Why do we need a separate policy?

  • What can be done about sexual harassment, harassment, bullying and conflict? How can I take responsibility to deal with things like this?

  • What is AUT’s current internal procedure to address conflict?

  • How do I keep myself safe from having complaints made against me?

  • What are my rights and obligations around these issues?
